Our ballet classes are for children ages 18 months through ten years old. Each class teaches specific curriculum that is age and experience level appropriate. Regardless of age level - children will be encouraged to be creative, move, explore and above all have fun while learning ballet. Recitals are held twice a year to give your dancer the opportunity to showcase all they're mastering. This is a magical time in a child's life and we intend to give them a magical experience!
Twirl With Me aims to help our little dancers become more independent and confident to further their interest in ballet. Students will dance, play games, listen to stories and gain overall exposure to everything involved in the world of ballet. This class is 45-minutes long that may require caregiver participation.
Petite Ballet begins teaching basic fundamentals of ballet including positions, structure and movements. Curriculum is inspired by various ballets and fables. Bonjour Ballet makes it a priority to emphasize the classical music and composers that create the moving art that is ballet providing students with a full-rounded ballet experience. Students will work both together and individually to build confidence and social skills.
Pre-Ballet I is a place where young dancers will continue to work on ballet fundamentals while still enjoying magic and movement. Students will begin to gain more independence and be able to perform more positions as well. The wonderful stories that inspire ballets and the beautiful music that accompanies them will surely inspire your little ones in this class.
Pre-Ballet II is where children will begin implementing a traditional ballet class. The class will build upon all curriculum from the previous levels however no experience is required. This class helps dancers gain confidence, poise and strength all while still having fun. Classical music will have an extra emphasis at this level as well as positive character traits and social skills.
Elementary Ballet is a traditional ballet class for students that are ready to move forward in their ballet practice. Curriculum is more rigorous and students are more challenged. Prior dance experience is required to register for this course. If interested, please reach out and we would be more than happy to assist.
For your child's trial class, they can wear traditional ballet attire (tights, leotard, tutu skirt, and ballet slippers) or they can wear comfy clothes and go barefoot. Enrolled students must wear ballet attire.
Have your child bring a water bottle or cup with their name on it. We will provide everything else!
